A Clash of Eras...

This upcoming Sunday, at 6:30 PM, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs face Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV. Can the Buccaneers go all the way their first year under a new quarterback and extremely changed team? Will the Chiefs win back-to-back Super Bowls?

This season has been way out of the ordinary for every NFL team, especially Kansas City, they have endured various injuries regarding the offensive line. Something very interesting that I just realized is that only a single player from their week 1 lineup will start in the Super Bowl in the same position which they opened with.

We have seen this matchup before earlier this season, we should all be aware of the intensity each team is going to bring. In week 13, we saw Tyreek Hill (Kansas City Wide Receiver) go for 200 receiving yards in the first quarter, seemingly running all over the Bucs. To be a Super Bowl affiliated team, adjustment is a big factor that needs to be shown, and during this matchup that's exactly what the Bucs did as they adjusted to control the Chiefs offense the remainder of the way. The Chiefs pulled through with the 27-24 victory, but now, both teams meet once again in the biggest game of the season, no past game or past win matters now.

Football fans from around the world will be tuning in to watch one of the biggest matchups in Super Bowl history, Brady vs Mahomes. The Chiefs have played the best football in the league recently, the Bucs have scored 30 points per game for their past six games, who will come out on top? Winning every game since losing to the Chiefs, Tampa has bombarded the opposing quarterback more than any other team in the NFL, which should be used to a great deal this upcoming Saturday.

Brady will be playing for his seventh Super Bowl win, but this time, unlike the others, it is away from the New England Patriots and head coach Bill Belichick. On the flip side, 25-year-old Mahomes will be going for his second ring, and as most perceive him, “Chasing Brady.” Honestly, I think we should really embrace what is going to take place this Sunday, two of what can be the best quarterbacks of all time fighting to be champions, doesn't come around that often.

The stakes are high for both players, Mahomes I'm sure has nothing better in mind than to avenge Lombardi trophy number two, and for Brady, a win without Belichick will prove that it isn't the “The Patriot Way,” but “The Brady Way,” I am super excited for this matchup, as I'm sure all of you are. Who do you think will be the next NFL Champions? MVP? I cannot wait to see this showdown.
