10. Baltimore Ravens

This team has been bombed with injuries during this most previous season, which took them from the top seed in the AFC to missing the playoffs by the end of the season. The idea of this team being healthy again, also makes the Ravens a playoff team. With a pair of new starters on the line, next to a hopefully healthy Ronnie Stanley they should definitely be improved. As well as added power with tight end Mark Andrews and rushers J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards. On the defensive end is where I see Baltimore really thriving, as key components return from injuries, the Ravens also added some new players to their defense taking this Baltimore team back into contention. With a run-focused QB in Lamar Jackson, I hope to see more utilization in his receivers. What do you see as Raven's ceiling this upcoming season?

9. Green Bay Packers

When you have Aaron Rodgers as your quarterback you immediately are in conversations regarding playoff contention. After all, the Rodgers effect. Green Bay’s offseason wasn't quite as they imagined, after losing one of the best receivers in the game, Devante Adams, they replaced him with Sammy Watkins as well as a pair of rookies who were drafted seventh and 19th (Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs.) Even with Adams, we would continuously see Green Bay struggle deep in the playoffs, so how will these changes aid this problem? Not sure if it will. The good news is that their defense seems to be better than in recent years, but I am not sure that will be enough for the long haul.

8. Philadelphia Eagles

Name a team that had a better off-season than the Eagles? I’ll wait. Doubt you can because the Eagles just got serious. Jalen Hurts has showcased his running back-like ability for years, but now being accompanied by A.J. Brown, Dallas Goedert, and DeVonta Smith downfield, I am excited to see how he utilized his throwing abilities more than ever. A.J. Brown is exactly what the Eagles were looking for, and they got it, making him the respectful No. 1 receiver leaving DeVonta Smith to focus on what he does best at No.2. With a top-notch line, they also added to their forceful defense by getting their hands on the newest Eagles, James Bradberry, and Nakobe Dean. Will these new additions be enough to get the job done?

7. Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys give me the same vibes as the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA do, let me tell you why. They are always given these certain expectations, considering the talent they contain, but both teams very rarely meet those expectations. With Tyron Smith questionable, and the departure of Amari Cooper (thus putting more pressure on Michael Gallop), this team still carries a great amount of talent. We have witnessed the chemistry between this offense, with Dak Prescott, Tony Pollard, CeeDee Lamb, Dalton Schultz, and Zac Martin this team still has all those expectations as before, but with the loss of a star, I am almost sure, they will not be met once again. The defense shines bright with Trevon Diggs and Micheal Parsons, but they continue to lack in their front four, which could take their team and place them among the top rosters the league has.

6. Cincinnati Bengals

The team that was considered the underdogs not long ago has now ditched that title as they made a Super Bowl run last season, losing to the LA Rams. A lot of people like to argue that the Bengals overachieved last year, that they shouldn't have been there. But, I disagree. I am not familiar with a current team that utilizes their catching group as much as this team does, with Tee Higgens, and Tyler Boyd, we obviously can't mention this team without bringing up the star pair of Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase. With a fascinating, yet surprising run last season, do you think this team can repeat the type of playoff success they had this past season? I don't see them repeating to the Super Bowl considering the overwhelming power some teams have on their roster.

5. Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs always seem in arms reach to the Super Bowl, but how much is the absence of Tyreek Hill going to affect this team? The chiefs replaced the star WR with newcomers like Juju Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling who will definitely put up numbers. Although this may be the best decision for the long-term cap of this team, the loss of Hill may be bigger than they realize. But, if Patrick Mahomes is your quarterback, you will be amongst the top contenders for the game.

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

No one will convince me to put a team that includes Tom Brady lower on this list. This team begins and finishes with the seven-time champion Tom Brady. So, unless I with my own two eyes see this man decline, I will consider him one of the top QBs in the current league. Although Brady’s partner in crime Rob Gronkowski decided to retire, and Chris Godwin coming off an injury the Buccaneers still acquired one of the best rosters which can be found in, Mike Evans, Leonard Fournette, and Russell Gage (new addition). Tampa Bay also has one of the top blocking units, with the duo of Tristan Wirfs and Ryan Jensen. Can Tom Brady get his eighth ring before we see him retire? (actually, retire LOL).

3. Los Angelos Rams

It's no surprise the Los Angelos Rams are top three going into this upcoming season, they are the reigning Super Bowl Champions. But, everyone knows how hard repeating is, and I don't see this team headed to the Bowl this upcoming season. Getting back to where they left off starts with Matthew Stafford who led his team to the chip alongside Odell Beckham Jr. who is unclear if he will be returning or not. Cam Akers also supports the success of this team and he should return next season in a healthier condition than what we witnessed this past season. The additions of Allen Robinson and Bobby Wagner balance the losses such as Robert Woods, and Von Miller. Aaron Donald keeps this defense elite, as well as teammate Jalen Ramsey. What are your expectations for this Rams team this upcoming season?

2. Los Angelos Chargers

The Chargers made sure to be dominant during the off-season to take their chances to the Super Bowl to the next level. Roster-wise, this team may be the most well-rounded. With a top-10 QB in Justin Herbert, adding players such as Khalil Mack, J.C. Jackson, and drafting Zion Johnson, there really is no reason this team should be any lower on this list. Their roster only gets more attractive as we name off players such as Mike Williams, Gerald Everett, and Keenan Allen. As well as this offense is, their defense is just as credible with Sebastian Joseph-Day and Austin Johnson, dominant EDGE Joey Bosa, and Khalil Mack, as well as speedy corners J.C. Jackson and Asante Samuel Jr. (MY FAVVVV). If Derwin James stays healthy, his squad may be leading the league as far as rosters go.

1. Buffalo Bills

And finally the team I believe is better than all others, who I put at #1, is no other than the Buffalo Bills. It is no surprise that QB Josh Allen is getting as much love as he is going into his fifth season, MVP status is already in the talks. But it's not just Josh Allen that gives this team that much attention; his supporting cast makes him that much better. Having Gabriel Davis, Jamison Crowder, and Stefon Diggs out wide create multiple reliable outlets for Allen to connect with. Von Miller just left his Super Bowl squad to join a squad that has a real shot at getting Miller another ring. After a tough loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, to make it to the AFC Championship game, another loss before the AFC Championship will have their fans fuming. Do you agree that The Bills have the best team going into the 2022-23 NFL season?

These are the top 10 teams going into this upcoming season, in my opinion. Which team will surpass all their expectations? Which team will come short and disappoint their city? Is there a team I didn't list here that will shock the sports world? (hopefully the Miami Dolphins). Now we wait, wait until the NFL season kicks off.
